Honor 6C Pro with 5.2-inch HD display

The sub-brand of Huawei, Honor has quietly launched the Honor 6C Pro in Russia. However, the official website of the brand does not have it listed. Notably, the new handset is the budget friendly variant of the Honor 6C, which was launched earlier this year.Coming to the spec sheet, the all metal handset features a slightly larger 5.2-inch display on the front compared to the 6C.
The display comes with the same resolution as the 6C – 720 x 1,280 pixels and 2.5D curved glass on top. On the performance side of things, the Honor 6C Pro gets a Mediatek MT6750 octa-core processor as opposed to a Snapdragon 435 on the Honor 6C. There is 3GB of RAM accompanying the processor with 32GB of onboard storage, which can be further expanded through a microSD card slot. The Honor 6C Pro gets the same 13-megapixel primary snapper on the rear panel as 6C and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. There is a fingerprint scanner mounted on the rear panel as well. Out of the box, the phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with EMUI 5.1 skin on top.  The power required to run comes from a 3,000mAh battery. For connectivity, the 6C Pro gets dual SIM (Hybrid), 4G LTE, WI-Fi, Bluetooth and GLONASS.
Honor is offering the newest launch in two colour variants – Blue and Gold. However, there is no word as to when the device will be made available and its pricing. To recap, the Honor 6C  has been priced at €229 (~Rs 15,800), and comes in gold, grey and silver hues. Since the 6C Pro is toned down variant of the same, we can expect it to come with a more affordable price tag.
